July 15, 2012- Do not Crucify the Different Ones + Jessica Hagy’s a Genius

Good afternoon blog friends 🙂

I’ve found some nice little jewels in my Facebook friends and wanted to share the best ones so I don’t forget.

1.) Jessica Hagy writes a list of 20 plus simple 3 sentence advice on finding your calling.  VERY Helpful.

People become fat one bite at a time, and we become adults one hour at a time, so what we do today matters. Check out all the interesting advice  here (really short ones from Jessica Hagy complete with visuals. This takes 3-5 minutes to read, but an entire day to reflect about. 🙂

2.) iCats Fellowship – Sharing a friend’s shoutout who is merging her financial geekdom with venture capitalism and social entrepreneurship. For interested people – check out the website. Deadline is July 23 for this year (but u can always think about next year 🙂

3.) Electricity Free Bamboo Iphone Speakers

4.) Direk Jose Javier Reyes has a blog! – Follow him.  Only learned about this from Rappler.  This is one of the nice posts I liked 😀 http://chokingonmyadobo.blogspot.com/2012/06/five-things-i-have-learned-about-rock.html

It is funny but the basic lesson in an industry like entertainment does not begin and end with box office or ratings results. It has everything to do with starting a trend … or reinventing … or repackaging … or surprising the audience with what else is there to offer when they think they have already seen everything.

The moment you become predictable, you do not only lose your audience. You cease from being a performer. You become a spectator like all the rest.

And that is called career death.

5.) And have some laughter bites 🙂

6.) A Bad day is truly relative.  – April 14 , 2012 -$AAPL first broke the 600 mark , it still remains above 600 after 3 months 🙂

7.) Do not crucify the different Ones.  Think Different.  Still missin Steve Jobs.
