Nov 8, 2011- Short Beats Long

Short Beats Long.

If you’re a trader, you’re probably thinking I’m recommending a short.  No, I’m not.   I’m simply loving the idea of “short” summaries instead of long ones.  Below are a few profound stuffs I’d like to keep in my longer term memory, and figured pictures are the best “shorts” to install them in my brain.

1.)  Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs. – Henry Ford

2.) Changing your mind is a sign of intelligence. – Guy Kawasaki, on “Lessons from Steve Jobs”

3.) A+ Players don’t tolerate B Work. – Apple

4.) It is the working man who is the happy man. It is the idle man who is the miserable man. -Benjamin Franklin

5.) Talking is overrated, listening is underrated

As Plato is once quoted to have said “Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.”

Hope you guys like my simple short works of “art”.  Well that’s one of the first few things that I hope I can do once in a while, and would love any feedbacks especially from graphic design artists. 😀  Over time, I’ll try to create trading concepts using art works.

– Faceless Trader dabbles into Photoshop amongst others, will write a review tomorrow about the Wrestler(2008) movie featuring Mickey Rourke and Marissa Tomei.  Good movie 😀
